I don't track you, and the only thing I collect is what you type into the contact form.

Who I am

I'm Rafael Gómez, a freelance translator in San Antonio de Benagéber, Valencia, Spain. This is my site, so whatever it collects is my responsibility.

You can write me at contact@spam.rafag.me, or use the contact form. There's more about me on the legal page.

What I don't do

No analytics. No tracking. No cookies.

Your browser remembers your light or dark choice and whether you've seen the opening animation. Neither ever leaves your device.

Everything you see here is served by the hosting company, and nothing is loaded from external sites (fonts, images or CDN).

The contact page loads one extra file: the script that actually sends your message. It comes from static.app, the same company that hosts the site, so it isn't anybody new.

The contact form

You type your name, your email and your message. That's everything I get. It's up to you whether you send it — but, without your email, I can't write you back.

Why I'm allowed to use it: you wrote to me, so replying is the whole point.

Who else sees it:

  • static.app (Designmodo Inc.) runs this site and hands your message to my inbox.
  • Google runs my email.

Both are outside Europe, so that's where your message ends up. Neither of them does anything else with it. I don't sell it, and you will never get a newsletter you didn't ask for.

How long I keep it: two weeks, then I delete it. The exception is if we end up working together, because then Spanish tax law tells me how long to hold on to the paperwork. If you want me to delete your message sooner, you just need to ask.

Server logs

This website is hosted on someone else's server, which keeps a log of who asked for what, including IP addresses. It's there to keep the site running, and only the hosting provider has access to it.

What you can ask me for

Any time, you can simply write and ask me to:

  • tell you what information I have about you
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • stop using it
  • send it to you as a file you can take elsewhere

If you think I've not handled your details properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish data protection agency, the AEPD.
